- The Troy Public Library is currently not accepting donations. Please visit our Donation Information page to find local organizations that are currently taking book and media donations.
- The League of Women Voters has published their voter guide for 2020 and they are being distributed around the state. Their website contains all of the information in the guide, and more: Vote411.org.
- Michigan Notable Books has recently produced a video series of “Author Conversations” featuring authors from the 2020 Michigan Notable Books list. Uncover the creative process for their works, learn about the authors’ backgrounds and hear readings from their Notable Book selections. Videos will be released on the Library of Michigan’s Facebook and Twitter accounts. The entire series will be available on YouTube and the Michigan Center for the Book Facebook page.
- On June 12, the CDC updated their Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) information here with recommendations for 'Daily Life & Coping', 'Errands & Going Out', and 'Deciding to Go Out.'
- Register to Vote! The City of Troy has resources for information on how to become a registered voter: City of Troy Election Information | City of Troy New Voting Information and the Michigan Secretary of State's Voter Information Center has online voter registration available.
- Recently, Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed an executive order that temporarily extends the expiration of driver's licenses, state IDs and vehicle registrations in Michigan. The extension goes through June 30, 2020. No late fees will be assessed by the Secretary of State’s Office. Those who can renew online at ExpressSOS.com are encouraged to do so. - The Library of Michigan has developed a set of federal and state resources regarding COVID-19 here.
- If you are in need of assistance during COVID-19 such as food, health, mental health, domestic violence assistance, etc., check out this list of Community Resources.
- City of Troy Recreation has a Community Resources page with resources for their community during this time.
- Have you taken the 2020 Census? For more information about completing the 2020 Census and why your answers matter to our community please visit here.

- The Suburban Library Cooperative's GoLibraryCard program has compiled businesses who are providing carry out service during COVID-19 on their website here. SLC has also gathered the below list of local venues offering online activities during COVID-19 for you and your family to take advantage of:
- Detroit Symphony Orchestra – Watch, listen, and connect to the DSO with on-demand video streaming archive of past concerts, available to everyone on their DSO Replay page
- The Detroit Institute of Arts – The DIA's internet collection has over 60,000 artwork pieces are available to view on the museum’s website
- Michigan Science Center – Each weekday at 2:30 pm, the Michigan Science Center is streaming dynamic live interactive science experiments at ECHO Distance Learning Studio
- The Henry Ford – Innovation Learning Virtual Series
- Ann Arbor Hands On Museum – STEM at Home

- The Metropolitan Opera in New York City – Streaming free operas nightly.
- Boston Symphony Orchestra is doing BSO at Home – Streaming concerts and introducing you to musicians and music directors.
- StubHub – Has a list of artist livestreams that you can tune in to including Garth Brooks, Norah Jones, and Kesha.
