Our automated circulation system blocks an account when a patron has $5 or more in fees. A payment to bring the fees under $5 will eliminate the block.
- If you have an email address registered with your Library account, go to the Library’s home page and click on Account in the navigation bar. This will take you to the log in screen, where you can click on Forgot Your Password? and have your password emailed to you.
- Or, you can come into the Library and go to the Circulation desk in the lobby with your Troy Library card and personal identification. A staff member will be happy to help you reset your password (PIN).
If you lose your card, please visit the Circulation desk in the lobby. A staff member will assist you with a new card. There is a $3 fee for lost cards.
The Library’s Technology Center has 17 computers with Internet access and Microsoft Office 2016. We have black-and-white and color printers, scanners, a fax machine, CD burners, and USB ports. In addition, we have a staffed Technology Desk to assist you with your questions. You must be 18 or older, or accompanied by a parent, to use Technology Center computers.
There are four computers in the Teen Resource Center, and 3 computers in the Youth Services Department. These computers have filtered Internet access and Microsoft Office 2016. The Youth Services Department also has two game computers.

Computer use is free to Troy residents and guests. If you do not have a library card, please see staff at the Technology Desk for a guest pass.
