Borrow free magazines and comics on your mobile device using hoopla. All you need is your Troy Public Library card.

Register for a hoopla account by visiting here, or by using our mobile app on your iOS or Android device. You will need to provide an email address, create a password, and have your library account information ready. Our free mobile app can be found in the App Store and the Google Play store.

Easily borrow magazines on your computer or mobile device by clicking Browse on the BingePasses. Click the hoopla Magazines BingePass options and then click borrow. Comics can be borrowed by clicking on Browse and choosing Comics.

The Magazines BingePass is available for 7 days after you borrow it. Magazines cannot be downloaded to your device. Comics can be downloaded to your device and are available to borrow instantly.
