Children 0–13 can join us All Together Now for our reading challenge this summer! It's never too early to start loving books! Listeners, children ages 0–5, can count each time a book is read to them by a parent or caregiver. Do you reread favorite books? Count each time you read it! Readers in grades 1–6 can track hours read, participate in our activity challenges, attend library programs, and write short book reviews. All participants will earn prizes along the way and chances to win one of our Grand Prizes! Time for a new reading challenge for 2023! How many books can you read this summer? Participate by reading, attending teen programs, volunteering, competing in online challenges on Teen Advisory Board's Instagram, and collecting prizes. Teen prizes can be picked up at the Adult Reference Desk.

You can also win prizes by logging reading points, completing certain activities, and writing book reviews. Book reviews earn you tickets for up to 15 book reviews. These tickets are used towards prize bundles drawings. These prize bundles include the themes: foodie, movie, Tiktok trends, Lego, and bookworm. We will do the drawing and announce the winners at the Teen Summer Reading Finale on August 12, 6–7:30 pm at the Troy Public Library. Watch this video to learn more about the program.
